Repetitive Admiration

The most gorgeous boy in the school was staring........twisties, tight shirt, ooooooo man. He puts an extra soul inside of me that gorgeous boy staring. A lot of girls say he is cute but the gorgeous boy kept staring and staring that i noticed the reason he kept staring was because i was in his arms.......that gorgeous boy staring had a pretty girl staring back at him smiling.

Disdain overhead

Gossip is so ridiculous it sticks a to you like syrup on a dirty plate. We all gossip because that is a way of life but mouths in the hallway are moving and moving in this semi-circle and that circle. It gets annoying when people stop abruptly in the hallway to gossip!!!!when you want to get to your education on time. Voices going, going, going...........STOP!!!!!!!!!!!! can i think by myself??????????? There is so much talking i can't even think. Walk, jog, run...riiinnnnnnnnnngggggggg!!!!!!!!!(shutting of door) yes i made it. no more gossip.

Their Eyes Were Watching God Quote

"Janie soon began to feel the impact of awe and envy against her sensibilities. The wife of the Mayor was not just another woman as she had supposed. She with authority and so she was part of it in the town mind."(Hurston, p.46)
Janie was the mayor's wife and soon realized that she had some things to work on. There were certain things that she could not say and do that would reflect the life that her and her husband live, which will question Jody's ability as mayor. She has a responsibility with running the store her husband set up and by the way the men were staring at her, she had to change her appearance. She did not feel like herself when Jody became the mayor, because then it was a drastic change in his personality.
